A father and son are visiting their grandma who lives alone in a small, rural environment. During the visit, old family conflicts come to surface and almost insurmountable differences between three generations and three different world views reveal themselves...
Jure Pavlović was born in 1985, Split. During high school, he dabbled in film-making and journalism. After graduation, he tried to make his childhood love for film into a profession and entered the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb to become a film and TV director. Worked as assistant director at the feature film 'I Have to Sleep, My Angel' by Dejan Aćimović. At the second year of studies, he made a short feature 'Ponedjeljak'/'Monday' awarded at FRKA Festival in Zagreb (Best editing). Today, as the undergraduate ABD at the Academy of Dramatic Art, he is active in film-making. 'Half an Hour for Grandma' is his professional debut.
